Inaugural Awards For Dargaville Hospital Staff

On Tuesday evening 2 May 2017 Dargaville Hospital held its inaugural Quality and Service Awards.

Staff and their partners/family and support crew celebrated this event in the staff dining room which included dinner and an awards ceremony. A number of staff were acknowledged for their 20 plus years of service to Northland District Health Board with 12 of these staff having spent most of their career working at Dargaville Hospital. This adds up to a huge commitment of work making a difference within the local community.

Following the service awards the quality awards ceremony begun with the acknowledgement of staff who have picked up an extra role and become “champions” for a particular health speciality such as falls, Smoke Free, Trendcare and family violence just to name a few.
