The Resource Unit at Dairy House is a treasure trove of resources to assist in ‘Creating a Healthier Northland’ and a warm welcome is always on offer from resource coordinator Maureen Bourgaize.
Northland DHB staff can access resources sourced from the Ministry of Health and other health organisations. If the subject matter you want is not already in stock, Maureen will endeavor to seek it out from her various contacts throughout the country.
Current stock includes a wide variety of pamphlets, posters, DVD’s and videos on general public health, including alcohol & drug, breastscreening, cervical screening, child health, communicable diseases, dental & oral health, environmental health, family violence, food safety, problem gambling, hand hygiene, health and disability, immunisation, infl uenza, nutrition, road safety, sexual health, smokefree, social issues, water safety.
Also available for loan are laptops, projectors, laser pointers for presentations, display boards, nutrition teaching kits, and Sunshade Gazebos for Expos
