Changing Colours

This website lets you change the text colour, background colour and text size to make the content easier to read. There are three options:

To select a colour scheme simply click on the icon corresponding to the colour scheme you want. To make switching easier, these icons also appear on the Home Page.

Changing Text Size

This site has been designed so that you are able to adjust the size of the text on screen.

Internet Explorer 5+
  • Click on the "View" menu
  • Click on "Text Size"
  • Click on your chosen size

Mozilla FireFox
  • Click on the "View" menu at the top of the screen
  • Click on "Text Size"
  • Click on "Increase"
  • Keyboard shortcut: Control-+

Netscape 7 / Mozilla Browser
  • Click on the "View" menu
  • Click on "Text Zoom"
  • Click on "Larger" or a percentage greater than 100%
  • Keyboard shortcut: Control-+

Opera 7
  • Click on the "View" menu
  • Click on "Zoom"
  • Click on a percentage larger than 100%, or use the +100% or +10% options at the bottom of the menu
  • Keyboard shortcut: + or Control-+

Internet Explorer for Macintosh
  • Click on the "View" menu
  • Click on "Text Zoom"
  • Click on "Larger" or a percentage greater than 100%

Safari (Macintosh-only)
  • Click on the "View" menu
  • Click on "Make Text Bigger"
  • Keyboard shortcut: Apple-+

How to use Access Keys

Please follow instructions below based on your browser and whether you’re a PC or Mac user.

Internet Explorer 5+ (PC)

Hold down the ALT key, press the number or letter of the access key, release both keys then press ENTER

Internet Explorer 4 (PC)

Hold down the ALT key and press the number or letter of the access key

Internet Explorer 5+ (Mac)

Hold down the CTRL key and press the number or letter of the access key

Internet Explorer 4.5 (Mac)

Access keys are not supported

Netscape 6 and earlier (PC and Mac)

Access keys are not supported

Netscape 7 (PC)

Hold down the ALT key and press the number or letter of the access key

Mozilla (PC)

Hold down the ALT key and press the number or letter of the access key

Mozilla (Mac)

Hold down the CTRL key and press the number or letter of the access key

Safari & Omniweb (Mac)

Hold down the CTRL key and press the number or letter of the access key
