• QLP is based on the Midwifery Council Recertification requirements
• Promotes Leadership and Professional Development
• Is designed for all midwives regardless of practice setting
• Based on the National Framework developed by NZCOM, NZNO and MERAS
• The QLP is voluntary and individuals can choose to participate at their level of practice.
• The QLP is available to all midwives within the Northland DHB.
