Chair thanks Deputy for his years of service

At the Board meeting held in Whangarei on Monday (3 September), Mrs Stewart announced that Mr Semenoff had advised he would not be standing in the forthcoming DHB elections.

She took the opportunity to publicly thank him for his six years of service to the DHB, the last three as Deputy Chair. She said: “Stan is absolutely dedicated to Northland. He is a man for all people and all Northlanders, and has been a great asset to the Board.

“He brought a very strong sense of the rurality of Northland to the Board table, and has a tremendous knowledge of the whole of Northland.”

Her comments were endorsed by the rest of the Board.
