Annual ReportsNorthland DHB High-Level PlansBoard Strategies - AdoptedThe District Strategic Plan is a high level description of NDHB’s funding priorities. Each of these priorities is then developed into a “strategy” that, with stakeholder involvement from throughout the health sector in Northland, analyses each priority in more depth. The strategy documents, once approved by the NDHB Board, are our framework for allocating resources and developing services. They also form the basis for developing our District Annual Plan.Strategy documents with NDHB Board approval are provided here in PDF format for downloading: Child and Youth Health Reports for Northland
Children and young people make up approximately 1/3 of the Northland population and an understanding of the factors that contribute to their wellbeing is vital, not only for ensuring the health status of the current generation of Northland children and young people, but also for ensuring the ongoing health of the Northland population, as each successive birth cohort grows into maturity. Pre and Post-Water Fluoridation Survey ReportNorthland District Health Board's Pre and Post Fluoridation Monitoring Survey report has been tabled at the Far North District Council by The University of Otago's Professor of Dental Epidemiology and Public Health, Murray Thomson. The results provide the Council with baseline and follow up epidemiology data at the two year point of the monitoring survey.
