Public Health Nursing - Bay of Islands / Kerikeri / Kaikohe / Kaeo

Public health nurses work with the community promoting health, preventing disease and maintaining wellness.

They also have a partnership with schools to assist and support families, individuals and school groups toward self-reliance in health.

They act as a referral agent and liase and network with allied agencies.

Clients are self referred, or through health and/ or community service professionals.
Hours: Nurses are available during normal working hours
Location: Bay of Islands Hospital in the Community Health Services Building
