The radiology department at Bay of Islands Hospital provides general radiographic (x-ray) services to the public with a valid referral from a licensed medical professional.
Priority is given to emergency, urgent and hospital in-patients. After hours emergent services are coordinated through the duty doctor at the hospital.
All GP referrals must have an appointment and this service is provided Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 4.00pm.
A clinic is run 7 days per week for those patients meeting the minor injuries criteria.

Location: Hospital building - go through the main entrance to the hospital just past main reception on the left.
