Laboratory Whangarei Hospital

LaboratoryThe labratory collects and/or recieved specimens such as blood, urine and swabs for analysis, from hospitals, rest homes and GP's.

Only a health professional can request labratory tests.

The test results are used by doctors and other medical staff in the detection and management of ill health and disease.


Accreditation
Northland DHB Laboratories are accredited with International Accreditation New Zealand (IANZ) in all disciplines and for all medical testing procedures performed.

Mon - Fri 8.00am - 4.00pm

Location:
The laboratory is located on the 2nd floor of the service wing of the hospital - directly above the main entrance of the hospital.
