Tracey Schiebli

Interim District Director - Hospital and Specialist Services

Tracey has worked in the New Zealand health sector since 1998. This included two years as General Manager, Planning, Funding and Public Health, and 10 years as General Manager, Services and Business Planning, a role that spanned both planning and provision of services, for Whanganui DHB.

Tracey also held a number of DHB national portfolios across elder health including negotiation of the pay equity settlement, and aged residential care and home and community support planning and contracting.
Prior to this, Tracey worked in various roles across the health sector including establishing district health boards in 2001, and primary health organisations in 2003. This was followed by three years running a health consultancy, before becoming a general manager in 2006.

Tracey believes that developing effective partnerships with clinicians, community providers, patients and their whānau, is the key to delivering high-quality services that meet the needs and aspirations of our growing community.

With her partner, they have made Northland their home and are appreciating all the outdoor activities that it has to offer.
