No Active/Confirmed Cases in Northland

There are two new cases of COVID-19 to report in managed isolation facilities in New Zealand today. 

It has been 75 days since the last case of COVID-19 was acquired locally from an unknown source. 

This brings the total number of active cases in New Zealand to 27. 

The total number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 is now 1,197, which is the number we report to the World Health Organization. 

There is no one in New Zealand receiving hospital-level care for COVID-19. 

Yesterday our laboratories completed 2,061 tests. Of those, 902 were conducted in managed isolation or quarantine facilities around day 3 or day 12.

That brings the total number of tests completed to date to 433,324.

Update #93 - 12 July 2020

Today there is one new case of COVID-19 to report in managed isolation facilities in New Zealand.​
It has been 72 days since the last case of COVID-19 was acquired locally from an unknown source. Our total number of active cases is 25 - all are in quarantine. ​
This case brings our total number of confirmed cases to 1,194, which is the number we report to the World Health Organization.​
There is no one in New Zealand receiving hospital-level care for COVID-19.​
Yesterday our laboratories completed 1,824 tests. That brings the total number of tests completed to date to 428,600. ​ Our seven-day rolling daily average of tests is 2,053.

Update #92 - 10 July 2020

Today there are two new cases of COVID-19 to report in managed isolation facilities in New Zealand. 

These cases bring our total number of confirmed cases to 1,192, which is the number we report to the World Health Organization. 

There are three cases considered to have recovered from COVID-19, which bring the total number of active cases to 23. 

There is no one in New Zealand receiving hospital-level care for COVID-19. 

Yesterday our laboratories completed 2,575 tests. That brings the total number of tests completed to date to 424,719.

Today there are three new cases of COVID-19 to report in managed isolation facilities in New Zealand.

It has been 69 days since the last case of COVID-19 was acquired locally from an unknown source.

These cases bring our total number of confirmed cases to 1,190, which is the number we report to the World Health Organization.

There are two cases considered to have recovered from COVID-19, which brings the total number of active cases to 24.

There is no one in New Zealand receiving hospital-level care for COVID-19.

Yesterday our laboratories completed 3,089 tests. That brings the total number of tests completed to date to 422,144.

It has been 70 days since the last case of COVID-19 was acquired locally from an unknown source.

Update #91 - 8 July 2020

Today there is one new case of COVID-19 to report in managed isolation in New Zealand.

This case brings our total number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 to 1,187, which is the number we report to the World Health Organization.

That brings our number of confirmed active cases of COVID-19 in New Zealand to 23, all in managed isolation or quarantine.

Yesterday our laboratories completed 2,131 COVID-19 tests. That brings the total number of tests completed to date to 419,055.

One person remains in Auckland City Hospital in a stable condition on a ward.
