COVID-19 Update

Paula Martin,

Update from Northland DHB: 15:00, 3 April 2020

There are 12 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Northland, and one probable case.

There are NO confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Northland hospitals, 9 are self-isolating at home and 3 have recovered.

Anyone who has been tested is expected to be in strict self-isolation until advised of the result of their test – that means effectively quarantining themselves from other members of their family.

We are still seeing a strong link to overseas travel, as well as links to confirmed cases.

A reminder that we are seeking physical separation, not social separation, so be supportive, reach out to people and most importantly be kind.

Visit the New Zealand Government page for all other information on COVID-19.
