Calling Graduate Registered Nurses

The new graduate programmes are designed to support new graduate registered nurses in their first year of practice.  This is achieved through the transfer of theoretical knowledge into quality, patient-focused outcomes for consumers within our organisation.  The aim of the programme is to develop: 

A competent practitioner, An accountable practitioner, A reflective practitioner

This is your opportunity to be part of a dynamic and innovative nursing workforce.  

NETP and NESP are 12-month programmes that will commence from 3 September 2018

The programme offers:

  • Structured clinical support

  • Preceptorship

  • Professional and educational opportunities

  • 12 planned study days

  • Career development

  • Fully funded postgraduate university paper

  • Additional HWNZ funding available to support Maori and Pacific Graduates within the NETP programmes

 

NETP Placements: (General, PHC, ARC)

Positions are vacancy based but are generally available in:

  • Medical & Surgical, ED, Paediatrics, Assessment and Rehabilitation, Orthopaedics, Theatre and District Hospitals. The programme is also extended to those working in primary Health, Aged Residential Care and Iwi provider organisations.


NESP Programme: (Mental Health & Addictions)

Positions are vacancy based:

  • Inpatient Unit and Community Mental Health
