The Occupational Therapy service provides assessment and intervention for people whose ability to cope with everyday tasks at home and work are affected by physical illness, injury or ageing.
Occupational Therapists work with clients to enable them to manage the tasks that they want or need to be able to do, which may include the provision of some equipment or learning new ways of doing tasks including education.
Services are provided in the hospital, as an outpatient or in your home environment. Clients are referred by a health professional or GP.
