FORMER EMPLOYEES CAN REGISTER NOW FOR THE HOLIDAYS ACT REMEDIATION
The new national Holidays Act remediation portal for our former employees is now live. You can access it from the Te Whatu Ora website, or local intranets and websites via this link HNZ login - Health New Zealand (tewhatuora.govt.nz)
Many of you have worked in different parts of Te Whatu Ora from where you are now, or in different roles. You may be due a separate remediation payment for this, in addition to anything owed for your current role.
If you worked at a former District Health Board, or Health Alliance, Health Partnerships, Health Source or Northern Region Alliance at any time since 1 May 2010, and you no longer work there or your employee record was ‘terminated’ in the payroll system, please register on the portal. You may also be a ‘former’ employee if you moved to a different location or role within Te Whatu Ora after it was formed on 1 July 2022.
The secure portal will be a single point of contact and source of information for former employees nationwide. We will use the portal to keep people informed about upcoming former employee payments and provide details about any payment to them. The portal has been independently assessed by security experts, to ensure your information remains private and secure.
If you know people who are former employees, please encourage them to register on the portal. We are committed to paying you correctly for your leave, and payments to former employees will start in 2024. Project teams will remediate current employees, then former employees.
If you are not a former employee, don’t register – your payroll team already has your bank account and other details.
