Surgical Outpatients Services 

Covers General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Gynaecology and Ear, Nose and Throat as follows:

Gynaecology
The gynaecology service holds clinics in Whangarei, Dargaville, Rawene, Kawakawa and Kaitaia.  Gynaecology services include:

General Surgery
Clinics are held in Whangarei, Bay of Islands and Kaitaia.

Medical Outpatients Services

The Medical Outpatients Department facilitates the running of clinics from a large range of specialities. We have a large team of local specialists (Doctors, nurses and physiologists) but also host a range of visiting specialists.

    • Cardioversion pre-assessmento Stress testing (Treadmill and Dobutamine)

The Medical Outpatients Department also runs a Medical Day Stay Unit (MDSU) where they facilitate:

Surgical Outpatients | Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5:00pm

Medical Outpatients | Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 5:00pm
