Pip Zammit commenced her career in Northland upon graduating as a dental therapist in 1982.  In her role as a dental therapist, she has worked at Counties Manukau DHB and in a private periodontist practice. Pip returned to Northland in 1996 with her husband and was self-employed for four years.
Pip recommenced her dental therapy career with Northland DHB in 2000.  Pip has held a team leaders role in the oral health service and continues to hold a .5FTE role as oral health service manager.

Pip feels privileged to be employed as the first Director of Allied Health, Scientific and Technical at Northland DHB and to lead such a knowledgeable, passionate and motivated workforce.

Pip has a post graduate qualification in Māori health, has extensive experience in leadership and management roles and is a member of many national boards and committees. Pip lives in Kerikeri and enjoys everything the Bay of Islands and the Far North have on offer, especially in regards to sailing and the great outdoors.
